Hope everybody had a lovely Thanksgiving. Whether you were near or far, we hope you were able to enjoy this traditional American holiday with family and friends, and hopefully some turkey and pumpkin pie too!
As Republicans, we have much to be thankful for this past year.
- With a Republican controlled House and Senate and a Republican President Trump, we are just starting to Make America Great Again.
- Republicans Overseas UK has witnessed impressive growth, held some of the most successful events in the history of the organisation, and had numerous high-profile public speaking engagements spreading Conservative viewpoints throughout the UK.
- Across the globe, Republicans Overseas have been busy fighting for Territorial Taxation for Individuals as part of tax reform and repeal of FATCA for all 9 million Americans overseas, and we are now the closest anyone has come to eliminating Citizen Based Taxation.

Republicans Overseas UK has appointed board member Sarah Elliott as its new chair, effective immediately.
Sarah Elliott is currently serving as chair of the board of directors of Republicans Overseas United Kingdom, having been elected to that position in May 2017 after serving as the board's Vice Chair since January 2017.
Sarah has had a career of advocating for Republican values in Washington, DC. She has made London her home over the past three years, and looks forward to working on those issues which affect Republicans abroad the most. It’s a new chapter for Republicans Overseas UK, and Sarah invites anyone who wants to get involved to please do so.
Commenting on the appointment, Elliott said:
"I am thrilled to be Chair of Republicans Overseas UK, and I am most grateful for the wonderful legacy Malise Sundstrom has left behind as well as some big shoes to fill too. I look forward to building the organization and growing it to reflect the interests of Republicans Overseas members."

Dear Republicans Overseas,
I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of our leadership, to express my deepest appreciation to our members and partners who have supported us during the election cycle and attended our Inauguration Watch Party.
The inauguration of President Donald Trump marked a highpoint in Republican electoral fortunes – we now control the White House, the Senate and the House.
Closer to home, I can report that Republicans Overseas UK has new leadership, a close working relationship with the national Republican Party, and a clear vision on how to grow its membership and make a difference to the lives of so many Americans living and working overseas.
I’d like to share two thoughts on this vision with you now:Read more
Dear Republicans Overseas
We have less than three weeks until the election that may define a generation.
Not only are the House, Senate, and presidency up for grabs — but the Supreme Court is as well. No matter what your feelings are about our presidential candidates, our conservative principles and values need to be represented on Capitol Hill.Read more
